Brookland Schools has a shortage of bus drivers this afternoon and one route will have to be held at the school until a driver can get back to run that second route. The affected route is 89. Parents, you are more than welcome to come and pickup your child otherwise they will be running roughly 30-45 minutes later than normal home. We apologize greatly for this inconvenience and will do our best to get these students home as quickly but safely as possible.

Students that live on Story, Lexy, Cameron, and Missouri streets will be later getting picked up by route 89 due to two trains swapping tracks.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the high school for Coach Gross this Monday morning. He has a lot to unwrap.

We have gotten the tests back from the State Health Department for our waterlines. The state testing came back negative for lead contamination. Any tests that were close to being abnormal we have taken precautions and made repairs. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Thank you for your patience! The phone lines at the Primary, Elementary and Middle Schools have all been repaired and will be open for use Tuesday morning. We experienced a cut fiber line and appreciate your patience and understanding.

The phonelines at the Elementary and Primary schools are down this morning. We are working on them and hope to have them back up soon. For the time being, if needed, please email the building secretaries or teachers. There will be another announcement when the services are restored. Thank you for your patience and support.

Come support your Lady Bearcats and a great cause on December 17th! #thebearcatway

At BPS, we have a lot to be thankful for as we are almost to Thanksgiving break. Sometimes it is even more important to let those people know we are thankful for them. Here is your opportunity to do just that....
Using the link below, you can send a BPS teacher or staff member a simple "Thankful" note, letting them know you are thankful for them and why. We want to encourage you to take a moment to make someone's day, week, or even month by letting them know you are thankful for them. You can send as many as you want!
