The Informational Parent/Student meeting is Monday, February 13th, at 6:30pm at the Middle School.
Brookland Jr High Cheer tryout packets are now available for any 6th grader who wants to try out for the junior high cheer team! Packets can be picked up from Mrs. Akin's office or in the main office. Jr High tryout clinics are March 6th and 7th in the high school cafeteria, and tryouts are March 9th. Tryout packets are due back by Wednesday, March 1st. Go Bearcats!!
Make-A-Wish updates! Currently in the lead for 3rd grade is Mrs. Haden's class, 4th grade is Mrs. Stallings' class, 5th grade is Mrs. Sandy's class, and 6th grade is Ms. Thomas' class! Our current total is $6800! We are so close to granting a Wish with our goal of $8,000! Let's go Bearcats! Tomorrow is the LAST day to raise funds! Incentives: Top 5 earning students in BMS will go to the radio-a-thon, reaching our $8,000 building goal means that our administrators and several teachers will be S'mored!, and the top earning homeroom in each grade receives a pizza party!

Brookland Public Schools will be closed Friday, February 3rd. Bus routes, back roads, and parking lots are still dangerous. This will be AMI day #4. Unfortunately the groundhog saw his shadow today!
Brookland Jr. High Dance Team Tryout Information
Brookland will be out of school tomorrow, Thursday, Feb 2 because of slick road conditions and bad weather. All basketball games for tonight are cancelled as well. This will be AMI day #3.
Optional Tryout Clinics at JGA for BMS Cheerleading that were scheduled for tonight have been cancelled. Those clinics have been rescheduled for March 1st please email Mrs. Akin with any questions.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for the parents of any student wanting to try out for the 23-34 BMS Cheer team on January 31st at 6:30pm in the Middle School cafeteria. For those that absolutely cannot make the meeting in person, a zoom link will be provided. Mrs. Akin will discuss the tryout packet, and answer any questions parents may have. Students do not need to be present for the meeting. Middle School cheer tryout packets are available in Mrs. Akin's office, and are due back by February 16th.
