Brookland Middle School, in conjunction with other BPS campuses, is having a HAT and/or PJ day fundraiser next week to help support our Special Olympics athletes! Next Thursday, September 18th, all primary-6th grade students will have the option to wear a hat or pajamas or BOTH. If students participate, they will pay $1 for one option or $2 for both and all proceeds collected will go to the support of our Special Olympic athletes as they take part in competetions throughout the 25-26 school year!

Just a reminder that we will have a state required lockdown drill today for students. They will know that it is a drill and not a real event. Thank you!

We apologize the message you just received should have said " tomorrow will be conducting a lock down drill. "

Parents! Our BMS PTO is treating our students to a foam party! This will be happening next Friday night (SEPTEMBER 19TH)! There are time slots for each grade...please see the graphic for all needed information!

Mrs. Buttgen and Mrs. Davis’s classes are doing a novel study on Fourth Grade Rats, using writing skills and teamwork to create trifolds with summaries and character traits!

It was a clean sweep for the MS football teams today! All three grade-level teams beat the Osceola Seminoles! Way to go Bearcats! 🐾

The Brookland Board of Education will hold it's regular scheduled monthly meeting on September 8th at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the District Administrative Annex located at 102 Smith St.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it's even better when it's free!

It's another great day to be a Bearcat! 🐾 ❤️ The first MS football game is tomorrow! Come out and support our Bearcats and cheerleaders! 🏈 📣

Mrs. Chastain’s Literacy classes had so much fun reviewing for our upcoming tests! Shout out to BMS students for getting Mrs. Chastain her very own Steve Harvey- Chastain game host name tag! ❤️📚🖤

Mrs. Hinsley’s and Mrs. Stoddard’s classes explored polar bear adaptations and how these animals adjust to having less sea ice available for hunting seals in their environment. A fun time was had by all 🐻❄️
