Brookland Public Schools is accepting School of Choice Applications for the 2025-26 or 2026-2027 school year. Applications must be submitted to the administration building at 601 North Holman by June 1st and are considered in the order they were received. It was truly inspiring to see the passion and care so many people have for Brookland schools. The conversations, questions, and involvement on both sides of the issue reflect a community that deeply values its students and its future.

We are grateful to serve a community that cares so strongly about its schools, and we remain committed to providing the very best for our students every single day.

Last night the BPS School Board approved the 2026-27 BPS School Calendar for the next school year. It is a "minutes" calendar with five snow days built in. The school day start and end times will stay the same as they are now.

Today is Election Day, and polls are open until 7:30 p.m. We are incredibly grateful to our community for your thoughtful consideration, and your continued support of Brookland School District. Regardless of how you choose to vote, your involvement and care for our schools and our students mean so much. Thank you for being part of our shared commitment to the future of Brookland. If you have not yet voted, please remember to exercise your right before polls close this evening.

MS Cheer Tryout Date Change!

Our community has experienced a heartbreaking loss. One of our football players passed away, and our hearts are heavy. He was a kind-hearted young man who was loved by so many — a teammate, a friend, a son, and an important part of our school family. Please keep his family, our football team, and our entire school community in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time. We do not have arrangements at this time, but we will share updates as they become available. 4th graders enjoyed a visit from Molly the Megabody! The Jonesboro Junior Auxiliary came to show our 4th graders the parts of the body and how to stay healthy!
