The Brookland School District will return to school tomorrow! Everyone take their time and be very cautious and patient in the morning. Parents, please use your best discretion regarding your child's safety while returning to school. If unsafe conditions should keep your child from school please let their building office know. Buses will run but will not travel on snow or ice covered roads. Thank you and be safe!

Brookland School will be out of School Tuesday because of road conditions. There are just too many issues with multiple bus routes. Looking forward to the other side of this!

The Middle School spelling bee has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 11:30am in the High School Auditorium. Parents of the contestants are invited to attend.

We will be out again Monday for a snow day. Side roads and bus routes are still very slick and frozen. We would love to have school but just can't do it yet. Our first makeup day for all of this is Feb 16th. Friday the 13th, which is the day after parent teacher conferences will still be a scheduled day off. Brookland School District has rescheduled its first public meeting to Tuesday, February 3 | 5:30ā7:00 p.m.
Join us for an informal, drop-in meeting to learn more about a proposed 3.95-mill increase aimed at funding district facility improvements.
Community members can view renderings, get details, and ask questionsāincluding information on a potential state facilities funding portion.

The Brookland School District had 2 days of inclement weather instructional hours that were built into the current 2025-2026 district calendar. Monday and Tuesday's snow days resulted in using those 2 days . Going forward each missed day will require the district to add additional instructional time through the scheduled snow days or to the end of the school year to ensure the students receive the minimum school days required from the state. We will let you know of any needed changes to the calendar. I know the teachers and staff are excited about seeing the kids again. I think we're all done with this!
