Through USDA's summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country can serve meals to kids up to age 18 at no cost. Families seeking food assistance for their children can also contact The USDA National Hunger Hotline, operated by Hunger Free America. As we are approaching the final weeks of the school year, we want to inform you that we will not be sending home printed lunch debt notices for the remaining weeks. We will continue to send texts as well as emails as long as we have the updated information in the offices. All debts should be paid before the start of the new school year.
7th grade basketball tryouts for the 24-25 season will be held in the BMS gym on May 21st and 22nd. Tryouts will begin after school and end at 5:00pm. This is open tryouts for all boys currently in the 6th grade.
Academic Awards assembly will be on Thursday, May 16th. This is an invitation-only assembly. Invitations will be sent home this week with the details of the assembly.

Parents and students...don't forget Monday is a fundraiser day for Odyssey of the Mind! For only a dollar students can wear either pajamas or a hat to school on Monday!
BMS is happy to announce that we will be hosting a dance for our 6th grade students on May 17th!
-It will ONLY be for current 6th grade BMS students
-School dress code WILL BE enforced (see picture) Dresses/Shorts must be at least fingertip length with hands at the students side!
-The school will have staff members there chaperoning the dance.
-Security will be provided.

Baskeball Camp for parents of current 4th, 5th and 6th grade boys: The Brookland Boy’s Sr. High Basketball Team will be hosting a basketball skills camp on May 15th and 16th for all boys in Middle School. Camp forms are still available in the main office. Forms will need to be turned in by May 14th.

Bus Driver & Monitor Appreciation Day!
Attention 6th Grade Parents! If you have a student who hopes to be an athlete or a band member as a 7th grade student next year, they will HAVE to provide documentation of a physical to compete or participate summer or school year activities. St. Bernard's offers free physicals on Sunday April 21st.

Girl's Basketball Tryout and Camp Information:
Jr. High Girls Basketball Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, May 7th. We will have a bus ready if necessary to pick the girls up, tryouts will start at 3:30 and end around 4:30. We will host them in the HIGH SCHOOL GYM (VOLLEYBALL GYM). If we need an additional day, it will be Wednesday, May 8th with the same location and times.
MS Girls Basketball Camp will be held on May 20-22. It will be held in the Arena and run from 3:30-5:00. The camp flyer and registration form is attached. Paper forms will be sent home with 4th-6th grade girls.
