Junior High Volleyball tryouts for current 7th and 8th graders will be TODAY, Monday, May 5th, from 3:15 to 4:15 in the senior high volleyball gym. Of course, tonight's performance of The Rehearsal by the 7th/8th grade cast and crew did not disappoint. They were fantastic as well!

Just a reminder that this Wednesday is the deadline to submit a nomination for 2024-25 BPS Educator of the Year for your child's building. Anyone is an "educator" when they have a positive impact on the students and school whether it is in the areas of academics, athletics, or social/emotional growth.

Brookland Junior High 7th/8th grade Theatre classes have two productions this weekend- 3rd pd Intro to Theatre presents “Wait Wait, I Can Explain” on Saturday, May 3 at 2pm. 6th pd Intro to Theatre presents “The Rehearsal” on Saturday, May 3 at 6pm. Both shows are at the Brookland Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $3 and are available at the door.

Congrats to the JH red softball team on their 5-0 win over Westside. Also, congrats to 8th grader Brooke Pulliam who went a whole game and came out with a no hitter striking out 7 and walking one (ALMOST a perfect game).

Once again, it was a great day to shoot trap at the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex with the Brookland Bearcats.
