Thank you!

Friday we competed at JHS for SO Track and Field. We took about 20 volunteers with us, along with 14 athletes from JH/HS. All of our students represented Brookland extremely well! If you see any of these students, please tell them what a great job they did! Each athlete received two medals.
I cannot say enough good about the students we took as volunteers. They are interactive with our athletes, they are diligent about athlete safety, and they take pictures like a proud big brother or sister. It is truly heart-warming to know we have such an amazing group of students who want to include everyone, no matter what! Track and field is a bit chaotic and these students handled everything so gracefully and with a smile on their faces!
There is no way I could make these trips happen without the help from others! Thank you all for being so supportive and thank you to Mrs. Paslay for working so hard to put on the pep rally the day before this event. I truly believe that is what gets these kids pumped up for competition day. - Mrs. Harris

Congratulations to Aubree Loggins for being voted the 7th grade Student of the Month for March!!! One of Aubree's teachers stated, "There is not enough room to write all of the amazing things about Aubree. She loves everyone and is always smiling. Although Aubree cannot speak with words, she works very hard to learn ways to communicate with her eyes and some gestures. Aubree loves school and is so excited to get here each day. You can't help to be humbled and inspired when you interact with Aubree. She is truly a light on this campus and I am a better person, teacher, and mom because of her presence in my classroom." #Bearcatproud

Here are some crops of a few aerials that were taken yesterday of those who chose to experience the eclipse from the Brookland football field. Some watched, some napped, some ran/walked laps, but for a few minutes it was no doubt an unforgettable sight! We hope everyone had a memorable day with family and friends! #eclipse2024
