Last week, over 600 Jr. High & High School students experienced the Be Pro Be Proud mobile workshop! Through hands-on simulators, they explored high-demand careers in welding, manufacturing, and transportation—industries that offer stability, great pay, and endless opportunities.

On Friday, students taking concurrent college classes through A-State attended orientation and toured campus. Concurrent enrollment allows high school students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time—giving them a head start on their future!

Work continues on Brookland Intermediate School!

Several of The Roar of Brookland alum played with the ASU Band today at the Paint the Town Red kick off Pep Rally at Brookland Middle School!

Our Baseball K-6 camp has been rescheduled! And the weather is cooler! If you registered for the previous camp and did NOT request a refund, then you are automatically registered for this camp.
The last day to register and be guaranteed a shirt is September 21.
We will pick up campers from the Primary, Elementary and Middle Schools each day of camp and walk them to the baseball field. You must arrive by 5:45 pm each day to pick up your child after camp. We can make arrangement to extend pick up until 6pm but you must call prior to September 29.
For those who enrolled previously—contact us if:
· The new dates do not work for your camper and we will refund.
· You need to change a selection on your previous enrollment, such as a T-shirt size or whether your child should be picked up after school.
Campers are invited to attend the Alumni Game on October 11 and run the bases before the Game. Athletes wearing their camp shirt receive free admission.
For all questions or additional information, please contact Cindy Bode at 870-761-7171.
See the Brookland Bearcats Baseball Facebook page for more information.

Thank you for your patience with car lines during the first week of school. While frustrating, the lines have gone smoothly because of you. Even this morning, we have spoken with the Mayor, the Chief of Police, as well as ARDOT representatives to help find solutions. Please remember that the residents of Hickory and Oak street may need to back out of their driveways during high traffic times. They would be appreciative if you allowed them to do that when needed. Thank you so much!
Brookland Public Schools is accepting bids for a used plasma table. Please see the description for more information.
