Last Friday, our Special Olympics Bowling team competed at the Jonesboro Bowling Center.
Jr High Girls and Sr. High Girls will play Riverside tonight starting at 6:00. Both games will be played in the Arena.
7th/8th/9th grade boys will play MacArthur tonight starting at 5:00. All 3 games will be played in the HS Gym.
We will have our Track dedication/official opening/Ribbon Cutting at 5:30 tonight at the Track Entrance.
Following the Track Ceremony, we will have a Turkey Trot Fun Run starting at 6:00 on the Track.
Laura Pope, transition teacher from Brookland High School, and Jennifer Snyder from Crowley's Ridge Coop presented at the Arkansas Transition Summit. Their session showcased a regional initiative designed to educate, motivate, and empower students from special populations by providing career preparation and exposure to local job opportunities.
Several students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare took part in the UAMS "Find Your Future in Health Care" event. The day was filled with valuable information about various medical professions, and students concluded the event by dissecting goat eyes.
The Volleyball team is now selling sweatshirts to help raise money for state rings. They are similar to the sweatshirts the Senior girls have, just a different color and design.
They are a high-low Royce brand fleece sweatshirt and you can pick scarlet/red or grey. They only come in adult S-adult XXL. Orders will be taken through Friday, Nov 22nd. We hope to have them delivered to you before Christmas break. They are $40 each.

The ROAR placed 4th in class 5A this year with the highest score for the band at state in school history!

There is a potential issue with water service lines installed before 1989, which could impact our junior high A building and old senior high building. The district has been in contact with the Arkansas Health Department and we are having our lines tested. We will also be handing out water bottles in these two buildings until the test results are known. Thank you for your patience and support.

The Honors Civics/Econ. and AP U.S. Government classes will be hosting a school-wide Mock 2024 Presidential Election in the Cafeteria, Monday through Friday this week during both lunches for grades 7-12.
