It's time to "Kiss" A Senior Goodbye! Our Seniors are about to graduate and move on. Show them your love and support! Send a Hershey’s Kisses candy gram to your favorite Senior along with a personal message—just for them. Each message will have a small bag of Hershey's kisses attached to it. Candy grams will be on sale during lunch for both Jr and Sr High Buildings, until April 14th for $2 each. They will be delivered beginning April 17th. The middle school and elementary have flyers coming home today.

Brookland Bearcat Trap Team competed Saturday in a Tournament at the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex. They placed 2nd overall in the Senior divisions (9-12th grade), and 3rd overall in the Junior divisions (7-8 grade).

2023-2024 Athletic Physicals hosted by St. Bernard's will be on April 23rd @ St. Bernard's Auditorium. 7-8 is Jr High @ 3:30 9-12 are Sr high @ 3:45 Forms must be completed and signed upon arrival. Congratulations to our STATE award winning Student Council. Members that attended the AASC in Harrison this past weekend and received Gold Status recognition are: Ella Kate Thompson, Lauren Rodgers, Chayla Waggoner, Carmen Campbell, Venessa Brannon, Hannah Ming, Jackson Lynn, Ethan Hendrix, Hayden Smith and Caroline Canada. They received 1st place in all three projects they entered in the project competitions: Fundraising - Venessa Brannon School Spirit - Carmen Campbell School Service - Hayden Smith and Lauren Rodgers Also, the student council was elected to be the AASC State Reporter School for the 2023-24 school year with Hayden Smith serving as the student delegate on the AASC Executive Board.

High School Student Council is Hosting their first ever Student Volleyball Tournament! All proceeds go to Coach Parson's family in their fight with Breast Cancer. Get your team signed up!

Brookland Public Schools will dismiss early today in preparation for severe weather. Car riders will be dismissed at 1 pm and bus will leave at approximately 1:30.

Just some prom reminders... I will start giving out tickets to prom on Wednesday, April 12th. You must be debt free to get your tickets, even if you have already purchased them. This includes ALL relevant school debts. If you have questions about your debts, then please see Mrs. Reddell. Last day to turn in out of school date forms is Wednesday, April 12th! Last day to purchase prom tickets is Thursday, April 13th. You must have tickets to enter prom.

Sophomores got to tour Northeast Arkansas Career and Technical Center to see courses they can enroll in during their 11th or 12th-grade year. We even got to see some of our students that currently attend in action. The 11th-12th grade counselor will do pre-enrollment after spring break. 1st Choice Homecare is offering a scholarship to a Brookland High School Senior who wishes to become a Certified Nurses Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, Social Worker, or another career in the medical field. Application materials will need to be turned in to Ms. Trotter or Mrs. Clairday by March 31, 2023.

State Archery tournament We improved our score and had some PR’s. Carleigh McClung was our top female shooter with 272 and Cameron Yates was our top male shooter with 271. Thanks to all the parents and siblings who helped get us there and Thank you Mr. Bunch for coming to support us.

Congratulations to the Lady Bearcats Soccer team on being the Marion Showcase Champs! Lisa Craig got the Golden Glove award for the tournament. Bearcat Soccer had wins over Hermitage and Marion on their play day on Saturday. Both Bearcat Basketball teams ended the season as State Quarter-finalists. They were also conference and district runner ups. The Bearcats finished the season with a 26-8 record and the Lady Bearcats finished at 25-11. Congratulations to Tyler Parham for being The Drive Player of the Week. Bearcat Proud! 🐾
