
Mrs. Hatton, Mrs. Kalkman, and a group of art students enhanced the beauty of our town by painting a mural that represents the essence of Brookland.

This morning, Brookland FFA served pancakes, sausage, and bacon to staff and FFA students.

Today's baseball games and soccer matches have been cancelled due to potential weather conditions.

Students had the opportunity to tour the BRTC-Paragould campus and explore the CTC courses available to them during high school. We even had the opportunity to see some of our students, who are currently enrolled in BRTC classes, in action.

Students who are absent without a valid doctor's note or other legitimate documentation will not be allowed to make up the test.

✏️ A pencil for any scratch work

Students at Arkansas State University Newport - Marked Tree Campus took part in a medical career exploration camp, where they engaged in hands-on activities while discovering various medical professions.

The Advanced Placement Literature & Composition class is reading The Kite Runner. To understand the historical context of the novel, students are tasked with creating a mini lesson to introduce the class to an aspect of Afghanistan culture or history. For this particular lesson, students learned about the importance of rug art in Afghanistan and even painted their own "rugs".

Students in JAG classes and seniors who attend NEACTC participated in Draft Day last week. They had the opportunity to visit the career expo and interview with various industries from Northeast Arkansas. The students also toured NicePak Manufacturing and Arkansas State University Newport - Marked Tree.











On Saturday, March 6th, the Trap Team will host a chili supper and silent auction at the high school cafeteria. Tickets are $10 at the door. They will also have a 50/50 raffle. Email Jim Magee for more info at jmagee@bpsbearcats.com.
