Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Thursday, October 20th from 2:00-8:00 pm in the cafeteria. Senior parent/guardians do you want to learn more about how to complete the FAFSA application or about Arkansas Department of Higher Education Scholarships? If so, stop by the High School Library this Thursday at 6:30 for a short presentation, or Mrs. Clairday will be in the library from 2-8 to answer any questions or to assist you with the FAFSA. Also, a reminder that school will not be in session on Friday, October 21.

Last night, the BPS Board recognized Mrs. Hatton for receiving the Arkansas High School Art Teacher of the Year and the Boys Golf team for winning the 4A State Championship. Congratulations to all! #bearcatproud

The ROAR, the Brookland Band, earned a SUPERIOR rating at Region Assessment on Monday, October 17th and is STATE QUALIFIED!!! The ROAR will be competing for State at War Memorial Stadium on Monday, October 31!

Brookland's A\V program is growing by leaps and bounds. Today, students were out and about filming for video segments they are editing in class. Students get to use industry standard programs and equipment to create digital content.

Parents- If you notice a cafeteria charge for "fruit" on your child's cafeteria account, note that this is actually ice cream or frozen dessert. The new cafeteria computer system does not currently have a category for ice cream/frozen dessert so "fruit" is being used. They are working to add the new category. This only effects students in grades 3-12.

Basketball Chair Back information: We do have some chair back seats that are available. The remaining seats will be sold on Thursday, September 22nd from 9:00-1:30 and 5:00-8:00 in the Auditorium Lobby, first come first serve. Payment must be made on that day to reserve your seat or seats. We have also increased the price to $200 for each seat on the home side. $100 for Senior Citizens and faculty. $100 for all chair back seats on the visitor’s side. No discounts.

Please be aware Bus 32 was side swiped while on County Road 960. All of the students and adults are injury free and the bus sustained limited damage. A new bus has been dispatched to finish getting our students home. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
