Brookland Odyssey of the Mind is looking for sponsorships! We are going to World Finals in Ames, lowa at the end of May. Registration alone costs $3750 per team. We want to thank our community for your engagement, thoughtfulness, and participation in yesterday’s election.

It was truly inspiring to see the passion and care so many people have for Brookland schools. The conversations, questions, and involvement on both sides of the issue reflect a community that deeply values its students and its future.

We are grateful to serve a community that cares so strongly about its schools, and we remain committed to providing the very best for our students every single day.

Last night the BPS School Board approved the 2026-27 BPS School Calendar for the next school year. It is a "minutes" calendar with five snow days built in. The school day start and end times will stay the same as they are now.

Today is Election Day, and polls are open until 7:30 p.m. We are incredibly grateful to our community for your thoughtful consideration, and your continued support of Brookland School District. Regardless of how you choose to vote, your involvement and care for our schools and our students mean so much. Thank you for being part of our shared commitment to the future of Brookland. If you have not yet voted, please remember to exercise your right before polls close this evening.

Kindergarten Registration for 26-27 School Year
If you have a child who will be attending Brookland Primary’s Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year, please make plans to attend ONE of the Registration Dates below. Current Brookland Primary preschool students will be sent registration packets and information in their child’s folder and do not have to attend either of these dates.

Registration Dates: • March 10th | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM • April 10th | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Important: Your child must attend one of these dates for screening. Please make sure to bring them with you when you come.

Required Documents: (Enrollment is NOT complete unless all documents are provided.)

Legal birth certificate

Social security card

Required Kindergarten vaccines or exemption letter

Proof of residency (utility bill or rental agreement)

Updated physical (must be dated July 2025 or later)

If you do not live in Brookland School District, you must visit Central Office to fill out and submit a School Choice Form.
