As we near the end of the school year, it is that time again to nominate an "Educator of the Year" for each building. Anyone can be an "educator" when they have a positive impact on the students and school whether it is in the areas of academics, athletics, or social/emotional growth. Students, staff, parents, and community members are welcome to submit this form. We want everyone's input. The deadline to submit is April 19th. Here is the link: https://bit.ly/23-24BPSToY

Dear Parents/Guardians, With the excitement of spring in the air, we are delighted to announce our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt event on Friday, March 29th for our preschool and kindergarten students. To make this event extra special for our little ones, we are asking for your support in donating 12 pre-filled plastic eggs per child. If you are able to donate any additional pre-filled plastic eggs to help other students, it would be greatly appreciated! Please send all donations with your child in their backpack by no later than Monday, March 25th. This will allow us to properly prepare and ensure that each child has an equal opportunity to participate in the hunt. Please note that there is no need for parents to provide a basket or bag for the event. The school will be providing egg cartons for the students to decorate in art class prior to the event. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated as we come together to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for our children. Thank you for your cooperation and contribution towards making our Easter Egg Hunt event a success!

Dear Parents/Guardians, If you have a child that is 4 years old as of August 1, 2024 and would like to be considered for enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year, please complete the following form. Students must be completely potty-trained as we do not have changing facilities in our classrooms. Please note: This form is intended to gauge interest in our Pre-K program. Spots are still filled by a first come first serve basis according to the type of spots available and when ALL paperwork is completed for registration. Registration will happen at a later date and will be announced. Thank you for your help while we make plans for the next school year! Parents and Guardians- Don't forget that we are collecting money for Make-a-Wish this week! Please donate cash, change, or a check to Make-a-Wish and send it in a ziplock bag with your child's name and the donation amount written on the bag. The top 10 students (Pre-K through 3rd grade) who individually raise the most money will be invited to join the counselors at the Embassy Suites in February to speak on the radio about our Make-A-Wish donation from Brookland. The top two students who raise the most money from each building (2 at Elementary and 2 at Primary) will each win a bicycle courtesy of Robert Byrd Farmers Insurance.
