A great opportunity for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to participate in the first Arkansas Civics Bee. One lucky student will win an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. and compete for a chance to win $50,000. The Arkansas State Chamber is partnering with the Rogers-Lowell Chamber to host the events this year. The Rogers-Lowell Chamber is the initial competition for ANY Arkansas 6th, 7th, and 8th grader regardless of their location. We are hoping to have at least 100 submissions in the first round from all over the state. The top 20 will go to a live event in Rogers and from there the State Chamber will host a live finals event in Little Rock for the top 10. Cash prizes are offered at the Rogers and State events for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Plus the first-place state winner will go on to compete in Washington D.C. for a chance to win $50,000. We are working to make sure that students will have travel costs covered if they are finalists.
