At BPS, we have a lot to be thankful for as we are almost to Thanksgiving break. Sometimes it is even more important to let those people know we are thankful for them. Here is your opportunity to do just that.... Using the link below, you can send a BPS teacher or staff member a simple "Thankful" note, letting them know you are thankful for them and why. We want to encourage you to take a moment to make someone's day, week, or even month by letting them know you are thankful for them. You can send as many as you want! https://bit.ly/BPSThankful2024

There is a potential issue with water service lines installed before 1989, which could impact our junior high A building and old senior high building. The district has been in contact with the Arkansas Health Department and we are having our lines tested. We will also be handing out water bottles in these two buildings until the test results are known. Thank you for your patience and support.

Next week (November 18-22) both the Junior High and High Schools will be doing our annual "Thankful Turkey" fundraiser to benefit our Angel Tree students. Each teacher with a 5th period class will have a bald turkey hung up outside of your classroom door. Your turkey will be cold and lacking color. So, students in your 5th period classes will purchase turkey feathers to warm him up and make him beautiful! Turkey feathers are $1 each and students will write what they are thankful for on them! All money raised will go directly to Brookland Angel Tree students! The 5th period Junior High classroom, and the 5th period High School Classroom that has the most feathers (raises the most money) wins a pizza party, and that teacher gets to be the keeper of the JUNIOR HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL THANKFUL TURKEY TROPHIES to display in their room for an entire year!!!!
