On this Wacky Wednesday, Ms. Hallmark’s class enjoyed a STEM lab. In science, students have been learning about weather and the future of tornado-proof houses. As a concluding activity, they used everyday materials to construct model houses that could withstand winds, from a hair dryer on high, for 20 seconds. Our principals even stopped by to observe their creativity in action. 🏡🌪️

We want to thank our community for your engagement, thoughtfulness, and participation in yesterday’s election.

It was truly inspiring to see the passion and care so many people have for Brookland schools. The conversations, questions, and involvement on both sides of the issue reflect a community that deeply values its students and its future.

We are grateful to serve a community that cares so strongly about its schools, and we remain committed to providing the very best for our students every single day.
