Msg Due to pending inclement weather Brookland Schools will be closing at 1:00 today. Buses will run at this time, cat club and all after school activities will be cancelled. Regional basketball games at Highland have been postponed.
Basketball Regionals have been postponed for tonight. AAA has not given times for tomorrow as of yet. We will post updates when we know more.

Brookland Pre-K, Elementary and Middle School students raised over $25,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. They will use this money to grant the wishes of 3 of our Brookland students. We are so proud of their servant’s heart as they show the kindness and generosity of our future leaders. Brookland was the top fund raising school district for the 10th year in row.
Brookland Boys will play in the district tournament championship game vs Blytheville at 7:30 Saturday night @ Bearcat Arena.

District Tournament Brackets
Jr. High Girls will play Highland this afternoon at 4:00 in the District Tournament Semi-final. Game is at Trumann.
Sr. High Girls will play Trumann Friday night at 7:00 @ Bearcat Arena. 1 game only.
Sr. High Boys will play at Trumann Friday night. 6:00 JV game. Sr. High will follow.
Sr. High District Tournament will be at Brookland. Dates: Feb. 14,15, 17,19.
Bracket for the tournament will be set and sent out late Saturday night due to make-up games on Saturday.
Please be careful this morning as there are still icy and slick spots on roads, parking lots, and sidewalks.
Brookland Elementary School Cat Club: For drop off today, please park in the front parking lot and enter through the front door of the building this morning.
Brookland Public Schools will be in session Tuesday, February 8th. There may be some roads that buses may not be able to travel down. If hazardous roads keep a student from attending, please notify their school.
PeeWee Cheer & Dance Clinic will still be held tomorrow night beginning at 5:30PM - 8:00PM in the Bearcat Arena -for preregistered participants.

Games vs Trumann tonight and Pocahontas on Saturday have been cancelled. Trumann will be made up on Friday, the 11th. Pocahontas will be made up on Wednesday, the 9th.

The Governor announced today updated guidelines allowing Districts to stop quarantines due to the pandemic. Therefore, beginning Wed, Feb 2, 2022, BPS will only be sending students and staff home who test positive for COVID-19 or for those who are symptomatic. Quarantined students may return asap.
