We want to remind everyone to use caution when opening emails, especially messages that contain unexpected links, attachments, or requests for personal information. Phishing emails are becoming increasingly sophisticated and may appear to come from school employees, administrators, or other trusted sources.
Please do not click on suspicious links or open unexpected attachments. Be especially cautious of messages asking you to provide passwords, financial information, verification codes, or other sensitive information.
Brookland School District will never send an unsolicited email asking you to respond to or participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP). If you receive an email claiming to be from the district regarding an RFP or requesting that you submit information related to a proposal, please do not respond, click any links, or open any attachments.
When in doubt, contact the school or district office directly using a phone number or email address you know is legitimate.
Taking a few extra moments to verify an email can help protect your personal information and our school district's technology systems.
