Dana Ford and I, Tressa Davis, thank you for all that Brookland Elementary’s faculty and students accomplished during the Great Kindness Challenge. Thank you for raising money for Make-A-Wish. Our total is $10,658.44. Thank you, students, for making the cards for the nursing homes. The cards went to Ridgecrest Health and Rehabilitation, Sunshine Manor Nursing Home, Green House Cottages of Belle Meade, Chateau on the Ridge, and St. Bernards Village. Thank you to PTO for being our Kindness Greeters on Monday, Mrs. Despain for the posters, and for the Kindness Snacks that PTO gave us on Wednesday. Also, Mr. Robert Byrd and Robert Byrd Farmers Agency, thank you for dressing up as a Kindness Greeter on Monday and donating bicycles for the top Make-A-Wish Fundraisers at the Primary and Elementary. Mrs. Rupard, thank you for letting us borrow Mickey and Minnie, and thank you for those who helped with the pictures (Teachers, Mrs. Jaynes, Officer Faust, Dana Ford, and Mrs. McCall).
Brookland Elementary was represented at the County Spelling Bee by some amazing 3rd graders! We are all Bearcat proud of these students!
