Today Mrs. Clark’s class grabbed our passports and “flew to England” during Christmas Around the World. We compared and contrasted the differences between holiday traditions in England versus those in America. Before “heading back” to Brookland Elementary we grabbed an English souvenir- Christmas Crackers! They were filled with toys, a joke and a crown. What a fun “trip” we had learning about another country. 🎄🎉

Second graders have been learning about different National Parks during CAT time. This week they built arches from steam materials like the arches they looked at from the Arches National Park. #bearcatproud
