What is the Bearcat Fun Run hosted by Boosterthon?
BES has partnered with Boosterthon to host the Bearcat Fun Run. Boosterthon helps our school raise funds based on students participation in our Bearcat Fun Run. During the Fun Run, students will run approximately 35 laps(the track is short) while having a BLAST. We will have a DJ there, and we anticipate a great time for everyone involved. We had the BEST time doing this last year, and we hope this year will be even better!
How do I help?
Register your student at mybooster.com and ask friends and family to sponsor your child when they complete the Bearcat Fun Run. Please, reshare your child's link several times in order to reach the maximum number of sponsors.
Do I have to register in order for my child to participate?
No, all students will participate in the Fun Run whether they are registered or not. However, we highly encourage you to register. This is the only way we gain funds:)
When is the Bearcat Fun Run?
The Bearcat Fun Run will be Thursday, March 20th at the Bearcat Track Facility next door to the elementary school.
How do my students earn prizes?
Students earn prizes by registering and gaining sponsorships. The more sponsors they get, the more prizes they receive!
Can I send cash or checks to school for my child?
Yes, if a sponsor would prefer not to pay online, you may send cash/checks to the office with the child's name and teacher's name, and we will manually enter these pledges into the system where your student will still earn prizes:)
Can parents attend?
Yes, we are excited to host this event at our brand new track facility next door to the elementary school. You will be able to park in the new parking lot near the track.
What is the schedule for the day?
1st grade 8:30-9:30
2nd grade 9:30-10:30
3rd grade 10:30-11:30

Our 3rd graders had a wonderful performance tonight! ❤️🐾

Owen’s mom was a mystery for Mrs. Runsick’s class! They learned all about bugs and shared a buggy treat!🐞🐛📚

Tinlee’s mom was Mrs. Faulkenberry’s Mystery Reader…she read “How to Catch a Leprechaun” and they had fun making traps! Thank you! ✅🍀

Thank you, Brookland Sonic, for our March birthday treats!❤️🐾

Happy Belated Birthday!🎉

Mrs. Tina’s class loved doing a St. Patrick’s day activity with our amazing Speech Therapists today!♥️

“Oh the Places Mrs. Faulkenberry’s class will go!”

Thank you for your help with this important issue! 🤩

Look at this hard worker! She's ringing the Success Bell!

Happy birthday!!!🥳🎉

We are so proud of our bell ringer!!🔔❤️

Marley the Therapy Dog came with Mrs. Donna today to teach Mrs. Harris' class some Seussisms and play a fun game. ❤️🐾

Oh the places you’ll go! Some of Mrs. Runsick’s friends dressed up as what they want to be when they grow up. 🩵🩷🧡💚

Ms. Hallmark’s class has been learning all about weather. They wrote poems about clouds, painted puffy paint clouds, and built tornado proof houses out of simple classroom materials. The paper houses were tested to see if they could withstand a tornado (a hair dryer on high for 20 seconds).

Can't wait to see the places you will go, Third Grade!

Ms. Baker's class really is "Going Places!"

Officer Foust and Officer Ozzy had some backup today! ❤️💙

Happy Birthday!🎉
