
Our One School, One Book event is here! Students have received their copy of Ranger in Time: Rescue on the Oregon Trail. This is a great opportunity to read and interact with your child! Chapters will also be read aloud by teachers and posted online before trivia days. The schedule is attached.
Chapters 1-3, Trivia day is Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Chapters 4-5, Trivia day is Friday, Jan. 24.
Chapter 6, Trivia day is Monday, Jan. 27.
Chapters 7-8, Trivia day is Wednesday, Jan. 29
Chapters 9-10, Trivia day is Friday, Jan. 31
Chapter 11, Trivia day is Monday, Feb. 3
Chapter 12-13, Trivia day is Wednesday, Feb. 5
Chapter 14-15, Trivia day is Friday, Feb. 7

Marybeth Byrd Talent Show
Marybeth Byrd is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from the NEA area and made the top 8 on NBC’s, “The Voice” in 2019 and the top 10 on American Idol in 2023. Her goal is to provide a platform for artists to showcase their talent while raising money for her favorite cause.

The talent show will be held at The Ritz Theatre in Blytheville, AR on February 1st at 5 pm. The entry fee is $25 and deadline for entry is January 21, 2025. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

The Brookland School District will makeup last Friday's snow day as scheduled on our current calendar, Monday, January 20th. All Brookland Schools will be open on Monday, January 20th at their regular time to make up our snow day from Friday, January 10th.
