❣️Red Ribbon Week (Drug Prevention Week) is October 27-31, 2025. ❣️ The theme is, “United We Stand to be Kind and Drug-Free!” ❤️🤍💙 Monday – BES Patriots Stand For Kindness and Being Drug Free! - Wear Red, White, and Blue.🇺🇸 Tuesday - Reach for the Stars - In a World Where You Can Be Anything, Be Kind! Dress Up As What You Want to Be When You Grow Up! ⭐️ Wednesday – Stars, Stripes, Staches, and Mullets—Keeping the Dream Alive! Wear Pajamas, Mustaches, or Muletts!!! 🥸 Thursday – United We Stand to Be Drug-Free! Choose a Friend to Dress Alike, or the Whole Class May Dress Alike! 👀 Friday – Brookland Elementary Pledges to Be Drug-Free! Spirit Day! Wear Red and Black! ❤️🖤 We will also be having a food drive for Brookland’s prek-6th grade “Backpack for Kids” food program. This program provides food every week for students who may need additional food for the weekend. If you would like to help, please send the following to school with your child: Monday – Canned meat (tuna, canned chicken, or vienna sausages) Tuesday – Breakfast foods (poptarts, granola bars, or cereal) Wednesday – Ramen Noodles Thursday – Canned Pastas(Ravioli or Spaghetti) Friday – Canned Vegetables Thank you for supporting our school and students!

Hello Bearcat Family! BJH/BHS Yearbook Staff is raising money to add a few pages to their yearbook this year and would love your support! BJH/BHS has 1400 students in grades 7-12 and that means a LOT of kiddos to fit in a set amount of pages. A few more pages in the book would go a long way to getting as much coverage as possible for the students! You can help out by eating at Panda Express this Saturday!
