Mrs. Burke’s second graders had some yummy “Jitter Juice” to chase any nervous feelings away! We had a blast getting to know each other on the first day of school!

Students in 1st and 2nd grade will need to be dropped off in the car line or ride the bus for the 1st day of school. ONLY Kindergarten students can be walked up during this first week of school.

Kindergarten First Day Information
On the first day of school, you will be allowed to walk your child to the door at the end of your child’s classroom hallway. You may park at Brookland Baptist church. ALL teachers will be standing outside awaiting your arrival. Drop off for the first day, and the first day only, will be from 8:30-8:45am. You will not be allowed to enter the building. If this plan is not convenient for you, you will still be allowed to drop off your child in the carline at normal times or they may ride the bus. Please remember, Boys ONLY on Wednesday, August 17th and Girls ONLY on Thursday, August 18th.
