This Friday! 🏀🐾❤️ Ag for Autism is an allegiance of agriculture businesses dedicated to helping local children and families affected by autism. As a charitable, non-profit organization, it was established in 2012 to bring together local agriculture-related businesses and other local companies to collect donations and hold fundraisers on an ongoing basis. The proceeds of which will be channeled to area autism research and therapy programs. To date Ag for Autism has raised over $800,000 for autism therapies and education. Ag for Autism has granted over $10,000 to BPS over the last several years for us to better serve our students and community. Come out and support your Bearcats and a great cause!

Jett’s mom was Mrs. Faulkenberry’s class Mystery Reader on Friday! She read one of Jett’s favorite books. They made snowflakes ❄️ and had a snack! Thank you, Mrs. Amy!

Mrs. Son’s class loved having Mrs. Melissa Duckett as a mystery reader last week. Mrs. Melissa read The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors and then taught the students how to play the game.  What a fun time! 🪨 📄 ✂️

Brookland 1st grade teachers are in search of parent volunteers to work in 30 minute sessions one-on-one or with small groups of students. We strive to help our students reach their reading and spelling goals. Your role will be to assist students who need extra enrichment with these skills. Everything will be planned out for you in advance. If you are willing to volunteer for this commitment of at least twice per week (minimum), we would love to have your assistance.📚❤️🐾 https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1SPBWcQvvNss2oPZ58LufWSLS6_oEMzL_V9SWnjDrEig/edit?usp=sharing_eil_m&ts=63cb0f5b
