Football plays at Gosnell tonight at 7:00.
Dance Team competes at JHS tomorrow morning!!! Competition is from 10-3:30, our dances are at 11:50, 12:25, and 1:12.
The lists for students eligible to attend the PBIS off campus lunches is posted on the office window. In order to attend, students must have no unexcused absences and no referrals for the 1st quarter. If students are not on the list but believe they should be, they need to contact Mr. Miller or Mr. Hovis.
Sophomores will go October 29, Juniors on October 30, and Seniors on October 31.
Students can pick up forms from Dr. Bowman. Signed permission slips must be returned to her by October 28th.
HAT DAY! Students may pay $1 on Thursday, Oct 24 to wear a hat. All proceeds will benefit the angel tree project and canned food drive at Brookland. Money will be taken up in 2nd period.
Tuition for college classes was due on Oct. 15th. If you have not paid by the end of the week you will be put on the debt list.
Fall sports pictures are Monday, October 21st.
The deadline to join FBLA is October 31. Pay your $9 dues to Mrs. Jones (High School, Room 135) to join. Any FBLA member interested in an officer position, let Mrs. Jones know by this deadline.
Returning Beta Club members for 2019-2020: Ms. Herring will be available between classes, after school, and during 7th period for you to pay your yearly dues of $5. Dues will be due by November 1st. Also, join our 2019-2020 Senior High Beta Club Page using the code: nch795
Any students in grades 7-12 that are interested in being on the Jr and Sr High Chess Competition Teams see Mr. Wyatt. There will be a $5 member fee. The regional competition at ASU is Saturday, February 15, 2020. For those that qualify, the state competition is April 11, 2020. We have to send in our membership application by October 31, 2019.
For those students registered to take the October 26, 2019 ACT. Brookland High School is offering a one day review on Tuesday, October 22. The review will start first period in a classroom in the history hallway. See Mr. Wyatt by Friday, October 18 to sign up. If we have enough signed up, we will use two rooms. So see Mr. Wyatt ASAP!
Seniors class dues are $15 pay Mrs. Pearson. .
Junior class dues are $10 pay Mrs. Reddell.
Sophomore class dues are $6 pay Mrs. Hatton.
These are due by December 1st or you will be on the debt list and not eligible for semester test exemptions
Arkansas Department of Health will be administering flu shots to those students and staff wanting one on October 24th. Forms for students will be going home this week. Students, please return completed forms to nurse by October 21 if you are wanting a flu shot.
