*Student council meeting today 7th period in Mrs Poag’s room.


*Jr. High FCCLA members who are wanting to attend the Fall Leadership Conference need to stop by Mrs. Archer's classroom with $5 by Wednesday to sign up.


*The following Bearcat Band members were selected to be All-Region Jazz Performers in auditions last night:

Jr. High Band

1st Tenor - Alex McMinn

2nd Drum-set Triylon Whitman

4th Trombone - David Rubottom

*Students are not allowed to wear blankets around campus.


*The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host Random Fandom Friday for teens on Friday, November 22nd at 7:00p.m.  Students are invited to enjoy a movie + dinner.


*The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library Teen Chess Club will meet on Saturday, November 30th at 3:00 p.m.


*Charge your chromebooks nightly AND power them all the way offDo not just close the lid (that doesn’t power the computer off).  Regular charging and powering off your Chromebook keeps it running at optimum performance.  Failure to follow this procedure can cause issues with the trackpad/mouse, screen, wifi performance, etc.  


*Miss Bearcat pageant will be January 25, 2020. Pageant Forms can be picked up in the office

The divisions for the pageant are as follows (They have been combined this year): 

*2-3 year old; Pre-K/Kindergarten; 1st/2nd grade; 3rd/4th grade; 5th/6th grade; 7th/8th grade; 9th/10th grade; 11th/12th grade

 

*“Tracie’s Troops” Pink Bracelet $3/Each; I have bracelets in the office.


*BROOKLAND CHRISTMAS PARADE

December 1 at 2pm. Judging begins at 1pm. Theme: Christmas through the eyes of a child.


*The School Spelling Bee for grades 7-8 will be December 3rd during homeroom.  Students, check your email for the study list of words. *"The Holiday Channel Christmas Movie Wonderthon" will be presented by the Brookland High School Drama Dept on Saturday, Dec. 7th at 7pm and Sunday, Dec. 8th at 2pm.
