R.I.S.E. (Reading Initiative for Student Excellence) Arkansas encourages a culture of reading by coordinating a statewide reading campaign with community partners, parents, and teachers to establish the importance of reading in homes, schools, and communities.

Istation Home Access
Students have home access in their subscription, including interactive books and Ipractice. Parents will also have access to the parent portal. They can log in to the website using their student’s log-in credentials to check on progress and will have access to additional books and games that they can use with their child. Summer Events and Information
ASU has a great summer planned for the A-State Summer Camp Academy for children and youth in grades PK - 12th. Great scholarships are also offered to assist with those needing help with tuition. Camp categories include Computer Science, Coding, STEM, The Arts Academy (art, music and drama), Strategies for Success like note-taking, a camp for children who are dyslexic and/or who are struggling readers, Cooking Camps and Game Camps. Cupcake Wars, Minecraft, and Slime are favorites right now! ASU has many good art, music and drama camps as well as digital game design and others. Registration is online and all camps are informative and educational as well as fun.
